Progesterone is like Manna from Heaven

by Rebecca B
(Portage, IN)

I was suffering from every symptom imaginable. Loss of period, bloating, loss of memory, loss of sleep, foggy thinking, irritability, on and on. I went to several physicians and they proceeded to put me on the birth control pill, water pills and sleeping pills. They wanted to treat the symptoms but not the problem.

I told the doctors over and over again that it felt like it was hormonal. I was ignored. I changed physicians and spoke with a nurse practitioner. She actually listened and told me that my file said that the previous doctor thought I was bi-polar. I was dumb-founded. What a bogus diagnosis.

Thankfully after the correct series of tests, I was found to be progesterone deficient. I have not been the same since. I am so glad that I did not give up until I found the right diognosis. Progesterone therapy has made me feel like a human again. It is wonderful.

Progesterone is like Manna from Heaven

Hi Rebecca. I'm so glad you persevered! It took me a year of searching before finding progesterone, which also transformed my life too, my symptoms were similar to yours. Please spread the word! Take care, Wray.

I have the same problem!
by: Denise

I am having the same exact problem and it's been about 3 months since my last period! I'm not pregnant and have been feeling like my hormones have been off completely! No one is listening to me and the last time I was at the gyno, they told me that I had PMDD and put me on antidepressants. I just bought some progesterone cream 1/3/09 and have started using it. Will this help me? We currently don't have insurance so I am unable to go to the doctor but have read over and over about progesterone cream.

Any help is appreciated!

Hi Denise. Hopefully it will help you, but it can take time so please be patient. As you have no idea of your cycle now, it's best to follow a 28 day cycle to begin with, ie use the cream for 14 days, and then stop for 14 days. Your own cycle should assert itself over time. You might require a high dose initially, about 200mg/day, reducing once your cycle is going smoothly. Please see this web page. Take care, Wray
