Progesterone for help with Luteal Phase Defect ?

by Madhuri
(Singapore)

Hi ! I have been tracking my ovulation and find that my luteal phase is between 7 and 9 days. I understand that this is far too few days and it would be almost impossible for me to conceive.
This month - the LH spike in my opk has shown up today. We had intercourse and I think there is a good chance that fertilization may occur.

Please help - should I alert my doc and ask for progesterone supplements ? Is it too late for this cycle? Would greatly appreciate your advice.

Progesterone for help with Luteal Phase Defect ?

Hi Madhuri I think I might have seen this too late to help you. 7-9 days is far too short as you say. I do have a paper I've put together showing how to use progesterone to conceive and maintain the pregnancy.

If you would send me an email from the 'Contact Us Option 1' on the menu above, I can send it to you. Take care Wray
