Pregnancy

by Claire
(Cape Town)

I have just started the Progesterone cream after hearing from a friend that it will help with many of the symptoms that I have. I have just one concern though. I am on the injection because my partner and I do not want a baby. I see with the progesterone cream that it helps pregnancy and fertility. Please confirm that staying on the injection (for now until my partner has a vasectomy) and using the cream will not aid me falling pregnant?

Hi Claire Please would you contact Joy our distributor in Cape Town via her website here. She will be able to advise you on How to use Progesterone Cream. Plus give advice on Pregnancy. When you say you are on the injection, I'm assuming this is Provera? You might like to read through our page on Contraceptives, it could be all your symptoms are due to the Provera. The only safe contraceptive is the copper T IUD, please consider that instead. It's difficult to answer your question. Progesterone itself can be used as a contraceptive if enough is used. But it can and does help women who have had problems falling pregnant. And over the years many women have fallen pregnant while on the various contraceptives. I would ask you to read the pregnancy and contraceptives pages and judge for yourself. Take care Wray
