Opinions on Dr. Ruscio's views on High Estrogen vs. Estrogen Dominance?

by Jo

In my ongoing research I came across this page by Dr. Ruscio, DC, on "How to Flush Out Excess Estrogen: A Clinician’s Take":

https://drruscio.com/flush-out-excess-estrogen/

While he does talk about xenoestrogens and that there must be a balance between estrogen and progesterone, I'm unsure about what he's saying regarding "high estrogen vs. estrogen dominance."

Would love to hear what Joy and others think about his assertions.

p.s. I am a bit cautious regarding this because his credential is "DC" -- a Doctor of Chiropractic, not a medical doctor. I also do not trust chiropractors *at all* after learning the truth about them. However, I'm interested in whether what he has to say is valid or not.

Hi

I am sure Joy will have a much better explanation but as I understand it, it is not about how high your Estrogen is, but the ratio between Estrogen and Progesterone which is what matters. Anyway, you will get a more detailed explanation, I am sure.

Yes, I mentioned that he talks about the ratio must be balanced between estrogen & progesterone in my second paragraph:

"While he does talk about xenoestrogens and that there must be a balance between estrogen and progesterone, I'm unsure about what he's saying regarding "high estrogen vs. estrogen dominance."

In other words, he seems to agree about the ratio/balance. I'm just not sure what he's saying regarding "high estrogen vs estrogen dominance."

On this site, everything talks about estrogen dominance. So I'm wondering if there is a distinction between that and "high estrogen," as Dr. Ruscio claims.
