Hello
My name is tina. Four months ago I was a busy social happy 54 year old. Then one night I woke up to a loud tonal sound in my right ear. During the day my right ear would emit a loud jingle sound and wake me up two or three times during the night with a loud tonal. With no restorative sleep I started to get muscle pain all over my body, from my forehead to the bottoms of my feet. I live with a bad flu feeling all day and night. I can barely function now. I am almost an invalid. During the day I drag myself around the house full of joint and muscle pain and extreme fatigue. During the night I am constantly awakened by this horrendous sound in my ear. After some blood tests, my doctor could only find two things. Low ferritin and very very low progesterine. My question is this, can a progesterone deficiency do all of this? Which would be the best way to take it, cream or tablet? I cry every night because no one has any answers for me. My life has ended.

Very low ferritin and progesterone

Oh my goodness... Don't give up here. Firstly, I recommend you find a very good integrative internal medicine dr who fully understands bioidentical hormones and can do further diagnostics. There are so many questions...Are you peri? Post? When was your last period? Are you having any other sx? Thyroid? Adrenals? Vit D level?
Hang in there... Diane

Hello Tina!
Yes, yes and yes! Low progesterone causes all of that and more. Life is not over for you...you still have hope and that hope is Wray's site. Read it forwards and backwards. Use Natpro...I've tried most creams out there and they are not the quality that is seen in Wrays' and no I do not have an monetary interest in the cream. It works and that's all I need to promote the product. Read about all the different supplements Wray suggests. You need them all...my mother suffered as you are....now has RA, cancer, Paget's Disease, her list goes on and on....and if she just would have known about progesterone and other supplements that were available to her years back she may have avoided all of her illnesses today. You will not find your answers in most doctors of today. You must take a proactive stance with your body and find your answers yourself. If you read my story you'll find that's what I had to do and did. Most doctors of today do not believe in natural protocols and most will tell you doctors of homeopathic nature are quacks. Yes, the medical field is there for a reason and we can be quite thankful for their advancements, but when you get no answers, as you have had happen to you, you just don't lie down and give up and say it's over. Today and tomorrow are new days and days that we can find the answer to our troubles. Don't give up, be patient...natural cures do not happen over night and remember if you fall off the wagon...get back up and hop back on because that wagon is gonna take you to a new you! Start reading Tina as this site is full of a wealth of information to get you on that wagon! God Bless! RJ

Sounds familiar-UNFORTUNATELY
by: Cythia

Hello, there. Your senario sounds very similar to mine, in every way. Life was a nightmare. So, with many systems failing and many symptoms (all fibro symptoms, low progesterone symptoms, flu symtpoms, ringing ears etc...)all appearing within a matter of months, I took a very aggressive approach to my health. Look up the SHINE protocol-stands for Sleep, Hormones,Infection, Nutrition, Exercise and I have added detox to that. Natpro has been the H for me in the Hormone section. Very good product. YOu will need to address your immune system, your gut (probiotics/digestive enzymes) Your nutrition-good vitamin supplements and inflammation. Also, liver support is crucial if hormones are out of balance. I have used systemic enzyme therapy, high dose vitamin c, varied and continuous probiotics, Natpro (and others=Natpro is the best)and many other supplements aimed at reducing inflammation, thereby reducing pain. Exercise when and if you can, I know that is tough with crushing fatigue. YOu will recover given time. Drs won't help much. I heard "now you're imagining things" or "you'll just have to get used to doing less," or "you are healthy, I don't know why you feel so bad." I also couldn't believe that hormones could do so much, so I thought I was dying. Letting it go too long also made things worse. So, do find someone willing to believe you and able to correctly interpret your hormone profiles-look for a Functional Medicine practitioner. This site is invaluable. It has connected all my unconnected dots: vit d deficiency, magnesium deficiency, estrogen dominance ad infinitum. Why you can go from vibrant to debilitated in a matter of months, or in your case, nearly overnight. Hope you find some relief. Don't give up, your life will come back.
