flax oil

by Renata
(Croatia)

Hi,
Two days ago I've made the order for Progesta cream.
I don't want to be boring telling my story. The main problem of mine is depression.
Somehow I've lost the trust in doctors that don't have time to look me in the eyes when I come, so I am struggling by myself. I did the questionnaire (progesterone) and my score is 56. Impressive!
Today I read the article you've sent me and I read that it is good to take flax oil.
Could you tell me how to use it?
I watched on TV that the best way is to take it with a fresh low fat cheese. How much per day, on an empty stomach or...?
Thank you,
Renata

Hi Renata Flax oil is good, and you must have seen something by or about Dr Joanna Budwig, see here. A controversial German doctor, she had success with cancer using a mixture of flax oil and quark. This is a form of cottage cheese made in Germany. For more info on using the mixture see here. But generally it's 15ml flax oil to 30-45ml cottage cheese. The flax/quark mixture can be eaten as it is, or used on veggies, fish, meat etc. There's no need to eat it at a special time or on an empty stomach. I make the cheese myself by draining sour milk for 1-3 days in a cloth, works out much cheaper than buying it. Plus there are no preservatives added, as these do not go into sour milk, but are often added to soft cheeses. The cheese itself is delicious and herbs, pepper, chilli, garlic etc can be added to it. The flax oil can be added too, but it does change the taste. I'm pleased you're going to try the progesterone, it is good for depression. We have more info on our page How to use progesterone cream. We also have a page on Anxiety which lists nutrients all helpful for depression. Please have a vitamin D test done, a lack of this causes depression. For more info on testing etc see the Vitamin D Council, GrassrootsHealth, Birmingham Hospital and Vitamin D Links websites. Blood levels should be 70-100ng/ml or 175-250nmol/L and not the 30ng/ml or 75nmol/L most labs and doctors regard as adequate. And the minimum daily dose should be 5000iu's per day, although the latest research indicates it should be 10,000iu's per day, see here. Take care Wray
