Constant low level nausea

by Izzy

Hello.

As my title suggests I have low level nausea constantly since increasing my dose to 300mg prog cream - 2 months ago. My pms was still really bad on 200mg which is why I increased. I'm in perimenopause at 48. It's almost like motion sickness as it seems worse when I move around.

All my other nutrients are good e.g vit d etc.

Is this a side affect or is it estrogen?? Is it likely to subside?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Izzy

Nausea can be caused by excess estrogen. You are using a good amount, I would stick with that and see how you get on. As mentioned many times, it can take between 2-6 months before positive results are felt. If you change the amount used, that can also have an effect while the body adjusts again. You may even have to use more progesterone just to get you over the nausea. Once cleared you can reduce the amount used. Experiment, see what works for you best.

Read this post on nausea. Wray explains in detail.

I do hope it clears soon.
