I was prescribed oral compounded bioidentical progesterone. The dosage is 75mg. From what I've read it is better to apply cream rather than take the pill. I will open the capsule and add to a cream. should I open 2 (75mg) to cream or just 1? I'm not sure if dosing is different between pill form and cream form. Also where do you apply the cream?

Good decision to open the capsule and add to a cream, any form of oral progesterone is not the best delivery method as 96% gets destroyed by the gut and liver, see here,troches, lozenges and drops, 50% gets destroyed by the gut and liver. Please read How to use Progesterone Cream and Estrogen Dominance. It can be applied to any part of the body. It is also excellent if inserted in the vagina at night as it helps with dryness and inflammation, but I would not suggest doing this with the cream that you will be using. It is important to make sure of the contents of a progesterone cream before inserting.

Do you know what your Vitamin D3 level is as a deficiency reduces the benefits of progesterone.
