Wondering what to do

by Tiffany
(Guyana)

I am a 20 year old female. For the past three months I have not seen my period. I went to my doctor and he said that the cause is my hormones but he did not give me anything for it.

I told my aunt and she said that my progesterone level is low so I was wondering what I should use or what I should do to see my period. I am not pregnant.

Wondering what to do

Hi Tiffany. Your aunt is a wise woman! Something is upsetting your cycle, and I have found through advising other girls with the same problem that progesterone does get it going again. You might need to use a relatively high dose, about 200mg/day. For more information on how to use it, please see here. If you do decide you want to try it, please read this web page first. Take care, Wray

First of all you need relax and avoid stress... For sure in your life there is something that made you stress that you maybe don't know about or do not consider that something makes you stress. Can be hormonal too, but do not use contraceptives or other pills like this for this. You can use progesterone cream, but you have to be very patient till your period will be ok with it . You can start the cream till your period comes and then consider the day one of bleeding as the day one of your period and from the last 14 days of your period you can use the cream till day 28. Take care and good health !
