How much is your dose? Gaining weight is symptomatic of excess estrogen and you are likely on a low dose that is activated the estrogen dominance. Wray will give you insightful information how to get through this. I personally upped the dose and "bull dozed" through it. Good luck!

Hi there I would have to have more info to help you. But no, progesterone does not cause weight gain, oestrogen does though. It's a mitogen stimulating cells to divide and multiply, including fat cells, it also causes water retention. When first using progesterone it stimulates oestrogen, you should have been warned of this. Please see our page on Oestrogen Dominance.
