Using progesterone cream now but want to change to Natpro by: Wray
Hi Jody Yes we do use micronised progesterone for the following reasons. Micronising is a term meaning the particles are only a few micrometres in diameter, this is achieved by grinding the powder down to the desired size. This allows the progesterone powder to dissolve more readily when making the cream. If the particle size was large it would take days to dissolve. If micronised progesterone was just stirred into the cream it would feel very gritty, as can happen if some of the progesterone precipitates out. The progesterone must be dissolved for it to enter the skin effectively. Take care Wray
