Hi Robyn Generally men need less than us, it's because they don't produce as much oestrogen as we do. So they don't have the severe symptoms we can suffer from. I usually recommend 10-100mg/day, but as with us, it depends on the severity of the symptoms. For instance if it's prostate hyperplasia, I would say nothing less than 100mg/day. For cancer nothing less than 500mg/day, it's very safe, see here. And our page on Traumatic Brain Injury. Stress generally needs high levels too. We do have a page on Man Boobs which gives some indication of it's benefits. Another on Prolactin which rises if we're stressed, in both sexes. But a rise in prolactin means dopamine drops, and with this depression and Anxiety can set in and Libido drops. Take care Wray
