by H

I am reslly confused as there seem to be many different views on this. I am peri menapausal with heavy periods and mood swings. Do I use the cream every day or do I stop on the first day of my period and start again on day 12????

I also am in peri and I use it continually. It helps with heavy flow and mood. I was suicidal but not anymore. I take 100 MG at night and 50MG in the morning. But some women use up to 600 MG a day depending on symptoms. I still have a period even though I use it all month but it is quite a bit lighter and I no longer get pms. It can take a few months for symptoms to subside. Have you had a chance to read the peri menopause page? There is a lot of good information on here.

Peri menopause dosage

Hi I have been applying 200mg in the morning and 200mg at night plus applying extra during the day on most days. I started the cream 2 months ago and as I must be estrogen dominant as my symptoms are so bad I have continued through those 2 months without a break. My cycle used to be 32 days and the last 2 cycles have been 16 days. My symptoms have slightly improved but I am no where near feeling better. Do I just stay continually on this cream at this high dosage until I feel 'normal'? I also take 40mg iodine solution which I have used for over a year and have just tried calcium d glucarate which is supposed to help with mopping up too much estrogen. Please advise if I am ok to continually stay on the cream. My cycle was quite regular before this.
