Hi there When to take it really depends on how your stomach reacts to supplements. I take a similar formula we make, and can take it on an empty tummy. But I've found many people can get nauseous with the B vitamins and zinc, so recommend they take it after food. The complex has an overall sour taste. So I find taking it in juice the best means, it disguises the B vitamin taste too, although it's best to chose a sweeter juice like mango, rather than an acidic one like orange juice. I do know one woman who takes it in soda water as she loves the taste! But I find I need the juice. Take care Wray
