I have been taking the PCOS formula for several months and have just found out that I am pregnant. Is everything in the formula safe to take while pregnant?
Hi there I'm so delighted about this, thanks for telling me! And yes it is safe to take while pregnant, there is nothing harmful in the complex. We don't add any synthetic extras such as preservatives, flavourings, colourings, sugars, fillers etc. There is the recommended dose of vitamin D in the product, plus taurine, both vital for pregnancy. See vitamin D here, here, here, here, here, here, here and here. These are excellent videos to watch too, see here and here. Even as far back as 1947 10,000-20,000iu's were suggested, see here. And taurine here, here and here. Continued below.

pcos formula and pregnancy Part 2 by: Wray
Hi there But please have a vitamin D test done. It's critical the mother has a high enough level while pregnant, and while breast feeding too, as you'll see if you watch the videos I've given you.For more info on vitamin D levels, test kits etc see the Vitamin D Council,GrassrootsHealth,Birmingham Hospital and Vitamin D Links websites. Blood levels should be 70-100ng/ml or 175-250nmol/L and not the 30ng/ml or 75nmol/L most labs and doctors regard as adequate. The minimum daily dose should be 5000iu's per day, although the latest research indicates it should be 10,000iu's per day, see here. In case you haven't seen it, please see our page on Pregnancy and this one here too. Please let me know how you get on. Take care Wray
