i have a 14 year old girl. started her cycle at 12 years old. by hher third cycle she did not stop bleeding till she was at hostpital for 7 days and on estrogen to the sum of 12 pills a day. ob's do not want to take her as a client.
2 years down the road i have the most unhappy kid you have ever seen. she will sleep all day is angry and unhappy most all the time.
we have found an ob that has tested and told me she produces no progestren and should be on a pill for that.

It sounds like your daughter should definitely be on Progesterone.Using a cream is much better than taking a pill. There is a LOT of information on this site, so spend some time going through it and encourage your daughter to as well, as this will hopefully give her some hope. Remember that there is not one dose for all, which means that she may have to play around a bit with the amount she uses but never go below the minimum amount. When I say "play around with the amount", I mean that our symptoms usually tell us whether we need more or can do with less. This is an individual thing. If she has no progesterone, she will need quite a large amount. Good luck.
