by Dub
(Czech republic)

Hi , iI am looking for explanation because i do
not feel good , i have difuclt time : the
symptoms look like estrogen dominance: short sleep
around 5hour, strong bleeding , painful swolen breast
burning tip of the tongue , tiredness , moode change
I am using progesterone cream 10% already two years
every day , i am 44 now … i realize that i have pof in 33,
and from there stragle a lot to balance my hormone
My curent hormone test is
Estradiol 36,7 pmol / l
progesterone 6,39 ng / l. or 20,33 nmol /l
Vitamínem D 190 nmol
FSH 18.67
LH 4.94
Test been made 3 day of cycle

So i am very confused with the result ,
It is look like that progesterone is more than
600 bigger than estradiol … and i still have
already some time symptome like i have estradiol dominance
Could you please help me to understand this
because my estradiol is postmenopausal and i also
have some estradiol deficenty symptom as well

And what you will do in my case … I just have
enough … Thank you very much for your advice

Hormone Testing/Ratio Progesterone Estrogen
by: Joy

Hi Dub

I am not surprised that you are feeling awful.  Your progesterone:estrogen ratio is 174:1 it should be around 600:1 before one feels benefits from progesterone see here. What baffles me is that you have been using a 10% cream for 2 years and you have not benefited at all.  I am not in favour of the higher percentage creams, advice given on this website is based on a 3% cream like Natpro which is a good organic cream.  I know how it works and what it contains and how it works.

You very clearly are suffering from Estrogen Dominance. You are also in Peri-Menopause which can be a torrid time for most women. Heavy bleeding is part and parcel of the PM sadly. The correct use of a good cream will help you through this.  Please read the How to use Progesterone Cream page.

This protocol has helped so many women who are battling with heavy/continual bleeding, you might like to try it.

400-500mg NATPRO Progesterone Cream per day.
2000mg N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC) per day.
2000mg Taurine per day.
5000iu's Vitamin D3 per day.  Cofactors are vital when
taking vitamin D3.
1000mg Bioflavanoids per day

Vitamin D3 is vital, a deficiency reduces the benefits of progesterone plus D3 and the co-factors mentioned boost the immune system which will help to protect against COVID. Please make sure that your level is optimal.

Hi!

I have been using a progestrone cream. I am interested in using your Natpro. I have been using a progestrone cream 20mg in the am and 20 mg in the pm. about a month now. i have awful joint and weird muscle aches here and there since using it. i did not have this before. I am a runner, so usually have lower blood pressure, i am 51 yrs old, no uterus, 1 ovary. I have bad night sweats, and dont sleep the best and anxiety and my CNP said after salvia testing to try progestrone cream.

i am ready to give up, cause i don't like these extra sypmtoms, like the aches and pains and this morning i woke with a headache.

Headaches

Hi Virginia

Please don't give up.  Progesterone needs to be used correctly before positive benefits are felt.

If you read through this website you will see that between 100-200mg of Natpro progesterone cream is needed, more if symptoms are severe.  The amount that you are using is not enough, that amount is merely aggravating your estrogen receptors making your Estrogen Dominance symptoms worse. The The How to use Progesterone page explains in more detail. Please also take into account that one will experience adverse symptoms when first using progesterone, worse if not enough is being used.  As you have no uterus you are in Menopause which is a challenge.  Progesterone will help if used correctly.  I agree totally with your CNP about using progesterone.  Hot Flushes are one of the terrible symptoms experienced when Peri-Menopause and Menopause starts.  Please read the Anxiety page and consider trying some of those nutrients mentioned.
Headaches again an estrogen dominance symptom made worse if not enough progesterone is being used.  Please rub some Natpro on the back of your neck and up the sides of your temples.  Progesterone is an excellent anti-inflammatory and it should help you.

Please make sure that your Vitamin D3 level is optimal, a deficiency reduces the benefits of progesterone.  Those co-factors mentioned are vital too.

Best wishes
