Endometriosis

by Laura Avery
(Henderson NV USa)

Hi Wray, I had posted a question in the weight gain section of your blog about what my dr. prescribed for my endometriosis. When you replied it was an answer about PCO. I think it just went to the wrong person.

I also tried to place an order the other night and I am looking forward to hearing back once your stock has arrived.

Endometriosis

Hi Laura I do apologise. I answer so many, sometimes I can absentmindedly paste the wrong answer! And now of course I don't know what page you are referring to, as the original title is one given by someone making a comment. It's not one we set up deliberately. We now have many pages on weight gain. If you could maybe paste it onto this page, I will get it. We do have a page on endo, maybe this was the link I meant to give you, and not the one on PCO, see Endometriosis. I've found progesterone does help, but if pain is present the amount needs to be 500mg/day. A metabolite of progesterone, allopregnanolone, is a potent analgesic, see here and here. But of even greater importance is vitamin D, this is a potent antioxidant, endo is an inflammatory disorder. Please have a test done, for more info on testing see the Vitamin D Council and GrassrootsHealth websites. I'm pleased to say stock is now back in our fulfilment house. Take care Wray
