I'm still breastfeeding my 14month old baby. My cycle returned 3 months ago but is still very irregular. How do I apply the cream if I'm not sure about my cycle length?
Hi Melinda It's best to ignore your cycle to begin with and use the cream daily. I would suggest for the next 3-4 months at least. Then you could try following your cycle, for more info on how to do this please see our page on How to use progesterone cream. Incidentally progesterone is safe for you to use while breastfeeding. And safe for the baby too, in fact it's given for respiratory distress syndrome to pre-term infants as progesterone is vital for the developing lungs. We have many mothers using it directly on the baby to help it sleep or calm down. Only a pin head amount is needed. Please make sure the cream you are using contains no harsh chemicals or endocrine disruptors. Take care Wray
