Bleeding and cramping

by Sigmundi

Hello,
I posted in previous posts... I used 200mg of cream through my period this cycle and I had heavy bleeding and then it slowly stopped. On day 5 I tried splitting the dosage to 100mg all at once in am and had a dull headache most of the day so did not use any cream until the next day (which was yesterday). I then spread the dosage out to a total of 100mg and towards the evening I started getting a migraine. Fell asleep and woke up at 1.30am with a really bad migraine (like a drop in hormones) and had cramps and bleeding.

I can’t tell if this is from the progesterone cream usage?

Bleeding and cramping

Hi Sigmundi

Please can you keep one thread going as it makes is so much easier to follow. As mentioned in previous posts, your body is still adjusting to progesterone therapy which is not an over night fix, it takes time and patience. Skipping a dose will not help you at all it will cause such an upset. Please try to use half the amount you decide to use in the morning and the other half at night. You will experience estrogen dominance symptoms and headaches is one of them. You may even need to use more cream.

Still having spotting

I increased dose from 200 to 300-360 mg of Kokoro Extra Strength cream 2.4% natural progesterone (approximately 30mg per 1/4 teaspoon) and still having spotting (brownish). Should I increase the dose? If I continue through any bleeding will this prevent future menstrual cycles and if so, is that not good to do?

Thanks!

The cream that you are using is not strong enough. Either increase the amount or consider using a good organic cream such at Natpro which is a 3% cream. You need to continue to use the cream through any bleeding. Progesterone therapy can disrupt the cycle but as the body adjusts your cycle will become regular again. I can't stress enough that time and patience is needed. Some women take longer to adjust than others.

Using progesterone cream until what age?
by: Anonymous

Hi again,
I'm still using the progesterone cream having some breakthrough bleeding creating two cycles a month until I increase the dose again.

Can you tell me the goal is to not have a cycle and how long (years) do I continue using 300mg of cream for? I know it was mentioned you've been doing this for 16 years or more, was that starting at age 50+ during menstruation?
