Progesterone capsules and natural progesterone cream by: Joy
Hi Kim
You could try and see how you get on. The problem is that any form of oral progesterone is not the best delivery method as 96% gets destroyed by the gut and liver. You do not say what progesterone cream you are using either, many do not contain the correct amount of progesterone concentration. I feel that the 1/2 teaspoon which is 2 1/2ml if using a metric one, is not enough. The required amount is 3ml or 100mg per day. The extra from the oral may make a slight difference but I do not believe that you are using enough. Progesterone therapy and the use of, is also dependant of symptoms. If progesterone is not used correctly it will not work.
