Some questions

by Pamapause
(Oak Harbor, OH)

Dear Wray, Thanks for posting my story!! I wish it was a success story but as I wrote ...I have high hopes to be doing that soon...I HOPE!! I am getting low on the cream that I am currently using and am pretty sure that I will order the "natpro"...however...believe it or not...I'm scared!!

That's because of my problem (one of so many!) of extreme anxiety that I assume is from low progesterone. Is it okay to ask you what the difference is between "natpro" and "emerita" pro-gest cream?? I'm not sure if you can answer that Q but if you can perhaps it would put my mind at ease about switching brands. One of my really serious problems, that I guess is from low progesterone, is that I get extremely confused very easily when trying to make decisions...and so I am making a mountain out of a mole hill trying to decide whether to order natpro or reorder the emerita!!

Just so you know...I am using aprox. 1/4 teaspoon 2x day and I know it is beginning to help to some degree but still have a long way to go to get back to "normal"!! (Not sure what that is anymore!). I have lots of other questions and comments but will just try to stick with this for one now and wait for a response from you. I don't even know if this is the right place to ask questions!! I'm sure I'll be back with more questions!!

Thank You!! Sincerely, the one and only anxious bundle of nerves, Pamapause...(Pam)

I switched from Progest to Natpro
by: Natasha UK

Hey Pam,

I'm sure Wray will answer soon but as I switched from Emerita ProGest to Natpro, I thought I'd share my experiences.

I felt good on ProGest but I switched because Natpro contains approximately double the dose of Progesterone. That was my main reason. I realised that I needed more of it daily to conquer my estrogen dominance.

Its lovely to use, lighter and no smell. & it working really well. I really hope it conquers your anxiety if you go for it. It has lifted my depression in only a month. Good luck.

Hi Pam and Natasha
by: Michelle

Firstly Pam I hope it works for you I have purchased some cream but have yet to start using it as still unsure. Can you please keep me posted on how your symptoms are etc.

Natasha - I posted a response to your kind emails in response to my initial post 'Wary to Use Progesterone' along with my email address but it seems to have been deleted. Thank you anyway for all your guidance and help and the time you put in to helping me (really appreciate it). I just wondered how you are getting on with your higher amounts? I am at the point where I could start using the cream but still unsure. I am day 14 of my cycle and already some signs of irratability and anger are rearing up -I'm just waiting for those horrible cravings to start soon. I know I have to do something but I just don't want to have to use 200mg a day!

Can you let me know how you're doing.

Thank you.

Some questions
by: Wray

Hi Pamapause I do understand your Anxiety, please look through this page we have. There are many nutrients which help. I had confusion, an inability to make decisions, a foggy brain, low self confidence and esteem and more, before I started the progesterone. I do hope it helps you, but I don't believe you are using enough. I recommend 100-200mg/day, you are currently getting about 40mg/day. You might like to see this comment here for encouragement. The difference between the two creams is the cost, and the ingredients. Natpro contains..... De-ionised water, caprylic/capric triglycerides*, cetearyl olivate/sorbitan ovilvate*, progesterone 2000 mg, populus tremuloides+, dl-alpha tocopherol *Ecocert validation for use in natural and organic skin care. + from non GMO aspen trees. Progest contains....Water, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vit E), Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Carthamus Tinctorius (Hybrid Safflower) Seed Oil, Panthenol, Glycerin, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Sodium Behenoyl Lactylate, Stearic Acid, USP Progesterone, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbic Acid, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Oil, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Oil, Carbomer (contains the synthetic preservative phenoxyethanol banned by Ecocert in June 2008). Natpro contains 2000mg progesterone, Progest 900mg, making it almost 3 times the price. And it is the right place to ask questions. Take care Wray
