Progesterone saved my pregnancy

by Jennae
(Gilbert, AZ)

After miscarrying twice, I started to wonder if I would be able to successfuly carry a baby full term. I found a new OB who told me that I was a great candidate for progesterone. She told me to contact her as soon as I became pregnant again. She put me on oral progesterone (dissolves under your tongue--much more pleasant than the suppository cream!).

I took the progesterone for the first 14 weeks of my pregnancy and had absolutely no problems. I have my little miracle baby and am now 10 weeks along with our second baby. I am on progesterone again and so far everything is going well. If anyone out there is struggling with early miscarriages, I highly recommend you talk to your OB about progesterone therapy. I am so grateful for an OB who saw the benefits of it for me.
