You are now in peri-menopause, which is such a difficult time. Please see here for more info. You could get oestrogen dominance when starting the progesterone, so please see here. I suggest using the cream daily, as not knowing when your period will be, with spotting too, it's impossible to follow it. Take care, Wray

I am 37 years old and I take progesterone all month long because I am so deficient. I have been told it is ok to take it all month long - no health concers, however, I may not ovulate. So, if I were trying to conceive I would make other choices. What I have read and understand would be a yes you can start anytime (I would start with a low dose unless you have already been on supplementation) Are you using bio-identical progesterone?
