Infertility and Ovarian Cysts

I am a 21 year old female, generally really healthy, but not quite sure what's going on with my body right now. I have a 2 year old, but my husband and I have been trying to conceive for over 9 months. A few months ago, they found the cysts on an ultrasound, and concluded that it looked like ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. I've had persistent pelvic pain, pain with sex, mood swings, nausea, etc., and if I didn't know about the cysts would have thought I was pregnant based on symptoms. I also have been without a period for over 3 months.
My doctor has prescribed me 100mg of prometrium to try to get me to menstruate, but we talked about using a natural progesterone cream instead. However, she isn't familiar with natural creams, and didn't know whether the dosage would be the same, since creams are generally better absorbed than oral delivery methods. I want to start using the progesterone as soon as possible, but how much should I use??
