How to dose properly?

by Jennifer
(VA)

I just received my Natpro in the mail but I have no idea how to properly measure out the dose.

Apparently I should take 200 ml. I don't have anything that measures in ml. I thought I remembered reading something on this website about how Natpro tubes have a measuring device built in, but I don't see it. Please help! Thanks!

I have the same question about Natpro. If there is measuring information, they make it very hard! Thanks for asking the question! I would prefer a direct answer verses referral to a web page, also. Thanks!

Hi again Jennifer No you shouldn't use 200ml, that's over three times the amount in the tube, which contains 60ml. I recommend 100-200mg/day progesterone, which is 3 to 6 ml of cream. In teaspoons 3ml works out at slightly over 1/2 teaspoon, 6ml is 1 1/5 teaspoons. But as I said in my previous reply, there's no need to be overly accurate. We don't have a built in measuring device, or supply any means to do so. We try to keep costs as low as possible, the dispensing pumps would add a great deal to the cost. Take care Wray

Ask your chemist or pharmacy if they can get you a 1ml plastic spoon. They are quite easy to get here in SA. Maybe Wray could consider adding one to the box of Natpro? I understand and agree that measured pumps would add to the cost and are unnecessary.
