How much cream

by Kath
(Sydney, Australia)

Hi,
Just wondering how much cream. If I want 5g of cream, what does that look like? Eg. Half a teaspoon!

Just wondering how to work out the dosage.

I have PCOS and understand that I need between 150-250mg/day. 5 grams of cream would deliver 166.5mg of progesterone. Im just wondering how to measure this.

Thanks
Kath

Hi Kath 1g of cream is almost the same as 1ml of cream, there's so little difference in it it makes no odds. So 5g would be 5ml, I do recommend using a kitchen measuring set, you can get them in millilitres. After time you will get used to measuring it by eye, and there's no need for the spoon. The amount of progesterone I've given is a guide line only, some find they need more. But please do not rely on only progesterone, it is essential to take the nutrients listed too. These help control blood glucose, which is a major factor in PCOS. Several of them initiate ovulation too. Please have a vitamin D test done, it's low in most people in Australia, in spite of the sun you get. Oxidative stress is behind PCOS, and vitamin D is a potent antioxidant. Let me know how you get on. Take care Wray
