Help non stop bleeding

by Lisa
(Elizabethton TN)

I am 60 years old and have been on Bioidentical HRT since 2011 and non non Bioidentical Hrt from 1997. I have uterine fibroids and had a polyp removed in 2017 due to heavy bleeding. In 2017 I also had Endometrial Hyperplasia. At that time (2017) my bioidentical HRT was reduced to half the dosage from E3/E2/Prog 1/0-2.25/72mg to half. I stopped bleeding in 2017 after dosage was reduced and had no problems until April 2022. I went off the Bioidentical HRT in November 22 and began using Natpro 400mg still bleeding off and on. I began heavy bleeding 2 weeks ago and began using 600mg of Natpro.The 600mg of Natpro isn't helping and seems to be making the problem worse.

I see a GYN in May but I am really scared and don't know what to do. I'm taking 2000 NAT, 2000 Taurine, 10,000 Vitamin D3 daily. I also take 1/2 tsp Shepherd's purse every 2-4 hours daily.

I don't know what else to do.

Hi Lisa

That is a long time to be on HRT and I am so pleased that you eventually stopped using them. All drug based HRT's have a potential to cause harm. Were you ever treated for Inflammation? Both Fibroids and Endo hyperplasia are caused by oxidative stress and inflammation needs to be addressed. High doses are needed if not, the problem will persist. Fermented foods are excellent for inflammation and help to heal the gut. If the gut is not healthy then that presents so many health issues.

Progesterone does help with this see here, here, here and here. Estrogen is a known initiator of inflammation, it appears yours is too high. Progesterone is an excellent anti-inflammatory as you probably know seeing that you are using a high amount of Natpro which is good. Vitamin D3 is also an excellent anti-inflammatory and again I am pleased to see that you are taking it. Please make sure that the cofactors are taken with D3.

Other nutrients are needed to help with the heavy bleeding. Please consider trying the Heaving Bleeding protocol and see how you get on. It has helped so many.

Heavy/Continual Bleeding/ Clotting Protocol

* 400-600mg Natpro Progesterone Cream per day
* 2000mg N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC) per day
* 2000mg Taurine per day
* 5000iu's Vitamin D3 per day
* 1000mg Bioflavanoids per day

Please keep us posted. This will take time, how long I can't say but it is certainly worth a try. Doctors will certainly suggest a hysterectomy which I am sure that you would like to avoid and unless there is something sinister going on, is unnecessary.

Best wishes.

I just found out today that I have cancer. Can I still use 600 mg of progesterone cream a day?

Hi Lisa

Oh I am terribly sorry to hear this. I take it that you will be having a hysterectomy? If so, I agree, anything sinister requires surgery. You will of course need support after the procedure, progesterone will give you this support, NOT estrogen.

Please read this page, Wray discusses higher quantities when Cancer is involved. Please read her replies carefully.

I wish you well and please keep us posted.

Hi Lisa, I hope you are well. Did you continue with the Natpro?
