Having pcos problem

I am Satya from hyd* I have consulted doctor scanning report was pcos problem so the suggested me to use OVAFAR for 5 days from 5th day of a period and SUSTEN tab on 21st day for 5 days. So from the last 8 months I am using it my period was regular till now but not yet conceive. Please help me by giving your valuable suggestion.

Hi Satya I'm not sure why you've been given the Ovofar, it's clomiphene citrate, this is what the CMIS India say........"Category X: Studies in animals or human beings have demonstrated foetal abnormalities or there is evidence of foetal risk based on human experience or both, and the risk of the use of the drug in pregnant women clearly outweighs any possible benefit. The drug is contraindicated in women who are or may become pregnant" It stimulates ovulation, which is a problem in PCOS, but this is more likely due to a lack of vitamin D, please have a test done. For more info please see the Vitamin D council website. Susten is progesterone, but this needs to be used for the full 14 days of the luteal phase, not just 5 days. And oral progesterone is not the best delivery system, please see our page on Progesterone application methods for more info. We do have a page on PCOS.
