Hair loss trying to dose properly

by Starr
(Innisfil, on )

Hi, it's been a while since I last used Natpro. I started 150 mg twice a day from cd15-27 and I'm now late getting my period which usually shows up on day 29/30. Should I keep waiting? Should I have just continued to use the cream with no break?

I have pcos, possibily hypothyroid and my hair is falling out rapidly. Should I start the cream again even with no period and use it straight for 2 months? I'm so confused.

Thx

Hi Starr

I suggest that you use the cream every day with no breaks until your body adjusts, this can take 2 to 6 months. Once your body has adjusted and your monthly cycle becomes regular, use the cream by following your cycle as explained on the How to use Progesterone Cream page.

Have you read the PCOS and Hair Loss pages as there is so much information on the pages.

Vitamin D3 is very important as a deficiency reduces the benefits of progesterone, optimal range is between 70-100ng/mL. Nothing less than 5,000iu's is needed daily. Co-factors are needed when taking D3, magnesium and vitamin K2 with no soy are the important ones. See The Vitamin D Council.
