Had IUD (Merina) taken out

by Gwyn

I had my IUD (Merina) taken out on 06/12/2010 and it is now 12/4/2010 I do not have medical so I have not been able to find out what is wrong.

I did have two periods after I had it removed one in June that was normal and one in July that was not normal it was very heavy and I had several fist sized blood clots come out over a week's time since then I have not had even spotting. I had my IUD for about four years.

Please help, I don't know what's going on. Is there anything I can do to get my periods back on track?

To the best of my knowledge, it is very UN-healthy for a woman to not have her period. It is the natural shedding of the lining build up in the uterus. That is why I say the huge clots are old, stagnant blood. Very good that those are coming out of you! Uterine build up over time can lead to infection, cancer, and many other ailments. I would recommend seeing an abdominal massage therapist. I believe that in addition to using Natpro cream, that kind of treatment will put your cycle back to its natural rhythm.

I personally see a therapist who uses the Arvigo technique of maya abdominal therapy. Sharon Chavolla, practicing in La Crosse, WI. She is very skilled in the work she does, as i am sure all the other practitioners on the website are as well, being that they all learn from one woman. Hope you find relief!
