My 4 year old kid is suffering from hypoglycemia, then I made checkup the doctor prescribed a test (E-Progesterone) what dose exectly the relationship with hypoglycemia? Thanks
I am not quite too sure what E-Progesterone is, perhaps it has Vitamin E as an ingredient. Please make sure that it is natural progesterone and not progestin. Progesterone does stablilise blood glucose to a certain extent by inhibiting glucose oxidation and reducing glycerol levels see here.
Has your daughter been tested for Insulin Resistance? Is she eating a lot of starchy, sugary foods, like grains and legumes. Even sweet fruits and veggies would cause insulin levels to rise. What is her Vitamin D3 level, a deficiency will also affect her.
