Cysts and fibroids

by Diane Adams
(Brea, Ca)

My sister was just told by her doctor that only Oral progesterone can reduce ovarian cysts and uterine fibroids and that creams are ineffective in reducing them.

I don't believe that to be true. Does anyone here know the facts?
Thank you.

Cysts and fibroids

Hello Diane!
Anything we take orally is digested in our stomachs and then filtered by the liver. Not too much left over to fix the problem we are taking the pill for in the first place. Wray, who is full of a tremendous amount of knowledge on many issues, will tell you oral progesterone is the worst form of progesterone to take and she will recommend that if you already have the pills to open them up and mix them with a creme and apply to anywhere on the body. Natpro is the only way to go. Highest dosage of progesterone per tube and least amount of chemicals. Some days I take 1,000 mg of it. There is a wealth of information on the left side of the page within the sidebar. Spend some time and read it all and then help your sister down a new path that can cure those cysts and fibroids. Progesterone alone is not going to eliminate them. Wray has a list of supplements that need to be taken along with the creme. Type your comment title in the google bar on Wray's first page and there will be tons of information that she has passed along to others who have had the same problems. Trust Wray...the woman knows what she is doing. As one women recently said on here...you have to step outside of the box to find your solution and cures. Good luck and God Bless! RJ

Cysts and fibroids

Hi Diane

Wow, how misinformed is your sister's doctor!! I used to be riddled with cysts on my ovaries and breasts, only after using progesterone cream did they all disappear. I have been using progesterone cream now for over 10 years and have not had a cysts since.

Oral progesterone is definitely NOT the best delivery method as 96% gets destroyed by the gut and liver. If the doctor can provide research papers backing this up, it would lovely to see it.

You might like to read the page on Cysts. Fibroids are caused by oxidative stress and the inflammation needs to be addressed otherwise you will battle.

Please take not of Vitamin D, a deficiency reduces the benefits of progesterone and is vital for fibroid treatment.

Hope this helps.

oral pills not working? I beg to differ.

If oral progesterone doesn't work, how come the birth control pill works? Isn't that a form of oral progesterone?

I think you are getting confused between natural progesterone and progestin which is found in birth control pills. Progesterone is natural, progestin is a drug. So many people get confused by this.
