Can someone please explain to me how to get the progesterone/estrogen ratio?

Can someone please explain to me in plain english how to figure out the estrogen progesterone ratio?

I really want to learn how to do this myself but I really cant find anything online explaining how to get the ratio

My numbers are as follows

Estrogen 400 PMOL/L
Progesterone 1.1 NMOL/L

Hi Jackie There's an explanation on our Hormone Testing page. You divide the oestrogen result by 1000 to bring it into nmol/L in line with the progesterone. In your case it would be 0.4nmol/L. Then divide the progesterone result by the oestrogen result, i.e. by 0.4. So 1.1 divided by 0.4 gives you a ratio of 2.75:1, rounded it would be 3:1. Which is extremely low, you must have many, many adverse symptoms. You might like to see our Saliva Tests results page, the ratios are all over 600:1.
