Calcium d glucarate

by Amelia Jane

Hey

I've started taking calcium d glucarate as an extra to try and help with my ED. I'm already taking 300mg progesterone cream.

I have taken 550mg each day for the last 5 days. Had a few mild headaches day 2 and 3, but since day 3 I've also had bad stomach pain (in my actual stomach) and immense bloating.

Do you think this is a detox side affect, or more a side affect of the capsules themselves which might not resolve?

Do you have any idea on how long it takes for calcium d glucarate to start reducing estrogen?

Many thanks in advance
Amelia Jane

Hi Amelia Jane

We often recommend CdG if one is really battling with estrogen dominance. How much to take is up to the individual to experiment to see what works for them best. We are all different, we all react differently.

It does detox one and again, affects some more than others. Should your reaction continue, then reduce the amount used. How long? This is difficult to answer. It all depends on how much excess estrogen one has. a
