Am I too late? Is a miscarriage likely?

I thought I was abt 7-1/2wks along when I started spotting yesterday. I too, have a previous history of miscarriages so the spotting concerned me. After visiting the dr., she believes I'm more like 6wks. My progesterone levels were at a 7 so she recommended The progesterone gel. Today, I continue to spot but heavier, still pink but darker than yesterday. Today is the first day with the gel. Any chance starting now will prevent a miscarriage or is it too late?

Congratulations!!

Have you read the Miscarriage page? Spotting can be a sign of a threatened miscarriage. Progesterone is vital for a successful pregnancy. Pity you did not use progesterone before. It is hard to say if it will help to prevent one now, but you may not even miscarry. Please read How to use Progesterone Cream and Estrogen Dominance, I take it that your doctor advised you of this? Also read the Pregnancy page. Stress can also cause a miscarriage.

What is important is the amount of progesterone that your cream contains. Please compare it to this cream. Also do you know what your Vitamin D3 level is as a deficiency reduces the benefits of progesterone and is vital for you and your unborn child.
