Progesterone ruined my life

by brittany

I was on progesterone cream and encouraged to use more and more which worsened my pcos symptoms. Once I stopped and weaned off of it I have extreme depression, adrenal fatigue, and pain in my endometrial tissue which I a very worried about.

Hi Brittany

If you recall, your doctor misdiagnosed you so your one email to me stated. You refused to follow advice and used progesterone as you saw fit. You were encouraged to have a vitamin D test, did you, if so what was your result?

I also repeatedly informed you that progesterone is NOT an overnight fix and depending on how severe your symptoms are would depend on how quickly it would help. You did not give it time but raced ahead and did exactly the opposite to what was advised.

No, progesterone did not ruin your life, you simply did not listen!

I do not think it ruined your life. If it had you would go on and not have anything more to do with Wray, her site or anyone else associated with it. I think what you're really doing is seeking help from someone...anyone, because the medical field has not helped you and you are desperate. I started, with the help of Wray, March of last year and I am just now seeing results. And that is at a dosage of anywhere from 300 to 1000mg a day. this month my cycle has come and I am bleeding profusely. Stress, change of weather, lack of sleep...you name it it will cause it to be off whack. Progesterone alone will not solve your troubles. You need all the other nutrients Wray speaks of. Natural remedies do not happen over night. Remember it didn't take you overnight to have your troubles and it won't take overnight to fix them either. Have faith, patience and do what Wray says, she works with many women who I had read have had success...me included. Hello to you Wray. Hope all is well! God Bless! RJ

I did listen and increased the dose as my symptoms got worse which was horrible advice because it did nothing to balance my cycles and increased hair growth in which I did not have before. Now after slowing "weaning" off the progesterone I am left worse then what I started. this cream HAS ruined my life and only at the age of 22. LADIES LOOK FOR AN ALTERNATIVE ROUTE BECAUSE THIS IS NOT IT TRUST ME . I have now left with severe depression and a mess of all my other hormones a mess , body odour, feel like I cant even function anymore and I am missing out on college ect. Thank you natpro.

Hi RJ Bless you for your support, always so good to hear from you. You are so right, progesterone will not solve all problems. I find it difficult enough as it is to try and find what is troubling someone, when I’m working in the dark! For instance food, what are people eating. This has such a big bearing on our health, and yet most people tell me they eat a healthy diet. The only healthy diet is one our ancestors ate, we are not designed to eat all the processed junk now available. For instance wheat is a toxin, and yet we’re told to eat about 6 servings a day! The same with fruit, but modern fruit is a bag of sugar water, with little value. Combined with grains, and you have a recipe for ill health. I’ve taken to asking everyone to read these three books….. Why We Get Fat: And What to Do About It, Wheat Belly: Lose the Wheat, Lose the Weight, and Find Your Path Back to Health and Grain Brain: The Surprising Truth about Wheat, Carbs, and Sugar--Your Brain's Silent Killers. Available via Kindle too. They might get better if they followed them! I can only commiserate with you, hormones are impossible, and thank heavens I’ve passed the stage you’re now in. And it doesn’t matter what age, young or old we all get hit. I’ve felt so burnt out recently, that I closed the computer for 6 days and did nothing. Well I couldn’t do anything I was finished. I’ve also decided to only help those who use Natpro and our distributors. I can’t cope with all the others too, some write back relentlessly too, in spite of using another progesterone. So there are going to be some very puzzled people expecting my usual answer. Bless you again! Take care Wray

Hi RJ

Many thanks for responding and you are so correct in advice given! Wray and her knowledge of progesterone has helped countless people, myself included and I shudder to think where I would be today without it. It certainly has changed me life beyond words.

Progesterone will always react when using it for the first time or when increasing the amount, as it stimulates the production of estrogen. Once progesterone becomes the dominant hormone, things start to settle down. Things will not improve until this takes place. It can take anything from 1 to 6 months, possibly longer for the benefits to be felt. People tend to expect an overnight fix, this will not happen, it does take time. One only has to ask oneself how long have they been living with their adverse condition/s, some many, many years. To expect an overnight fix from anything natural, well it simply will not happen.

Then we have Vitamin D, a deficiency reduces the benefits of progesterone, it's vital to get the level up, have a test done if you are not sure.

As Wray mentioned to you, diet is so very important! Whilst progesterone is vital, it does need help. All to often when one investigates further, it is found that people are eating incorrectly and wonder why things are going pear shaped for them. The links Wray provided on diet are very informative and should benefit a lot of people.

Take care.
Joy

Wray, I understand completely. We were in business for 30 years. People are rude, taxing and obnoxious. That is when we moved out here to the country. Yes, we had to cut back on expenditures and the like, but the stress level is almost non-existent which will prolong our lives. I often wondered how you kept your control over the ones who used other products, kept saying it's not working and yet continued to badger you as to why they aren't improving. All you have is what they write to you...if they're not honest with you then you're like a dog chasing his tail. Most on your site are very appreciative, but ones like this writer are the ones who ruin it for everyone else. They do not consider that, like you said, everything affects the makeup of our bodies. What did it take...almost two years for me to see improvement. And the biggest thing with our society is they want it yesterday. It's like the person who smoked for twenty years and they are told if you don't quit you will die. Stopping today is not going to reverse what you have done for twenty years but the improvements will begin to reverse what that person has done. And no one takes blame for their actions, they blame others and then beat it like you would beat a dead horse. I wondered where you were...saw lots of write in's but no responses from you. But get your tube out and slather it on....hey, by the way, I know someone who is very knowledgeable and can recommend some good supplements to help with your stress...lol. Don't give up Wray, you have helped so many...you will always have bad apples in the bunch...take it out so as not to spoil all the rest. Take those rest days...shut the darn thing off....walk barefoot on the ground and let that sunshine warm you up...but keep that Natpro in your back pocket. Hang in there lady, tomorrow is another day! God Bless! RJ

Hi RJ

It's because of people like you that keeps Wray going. You have summed it up exactly the way it is.

I have always admired Wray for who she is and what she has done to help others. She sits at her computer 24/7 helping others and doing her research, all because she cares. It has been a long hard road for her, what an amazing person.

Wray is like you and I, human with feelings. She also needs nurturing, TLC etc and trust me, she goes everywhere with her tube of Natpro and so do I.

Bless you RJ, thank you for understanding how progesterone and life works. I wish you love, light and happiness.

Take care.
Joy

Hi RJ You do make me laugh at myself! You are quite right, badgering me about not getting better whilst using another cream. That in itself is difficult as I have no experience about any of them. Why do I do it?! I’ve used Natpro for 17 years now, so I’m clueless about the others. Only from feedback from women who have used them. Joy always says to people who write to her that she can’t answer for another cream, I will too. Plus I’m now giving a link to Natpro, which I never used to as it seemed like a hard sell to me. If I was a millionaire I could do all this for charity, but I’m not! I so envy you your country life, I keep attempting to go there, but something keeps me in the city……one day! And yes I am slathering it on, nearly 1/2 tube a day now, slowly relaxing. I wonder who that person could be?! And yes I will shut the darn thing off, I get emails from friends asking if I’ve fallen off the planet, those that remember I’m still here that is! I hardly see anyone any more, Joy keeps me going. Oh yes, barefoot on the ground, there’s so much info coming out about how important that is. Bless you too! Take care Wray
