Too Much Estrogen

by Kristin
(Australia)

I could never take the pill, it upset my whole body, from weight gain to emotional turmoil. After having children I discovered that my hormones had changed again and I was grumpy all the time, I bloated, and I had zero sex drive.

After taking progesterone cream my sex drive soared so much my husband told me to order a pallet of the stuff...! I found that my emotions were more balanced and my period would sneak up on me without any warning symptoms such as sore breasts and grumpiness.

That annoying facial hair that starts to develop after the mid 30's also subsided, it's still there but only minimal and has gone from dark to light color. I can wholeheartedly reccomend progesterone if you are oestrogen dominant - you wont know yourself. Oh and if you're wondering how long it takes to make a difference, for me it was within a week. Fantastic.

Libido
by: LP

I just wrote to you asking if I might now be taking too much progesterone? But, anyway... it says in your article that progesterone should help your libido... I've been on all naturally compounded progesterone for over 9 years, and haven't had hardly any sex drive in years!

BUT, I'm also on Tegretol since I had one sleep deprivation seizure back in 1990 (which I think was also hormonal). I tend to blame the lack of libido on the Tegretol? I am also on Synthroid... have been for years! (so are my mother and my sister) But, it is controlled.

Do you know of a way to get saliva testing done and have the insurance pay for it?

I welcome your comments. Thanks!
