Progesterone for Elderly Women

by Jo Grant
(Tasmania, Australia)

Hello,

I am asking this question for my mum, who is in her 70s. She asked her doctor about progesterone replacement and he told her there were plenty of websites where she could find quack cures for cancer. Quite disrespectful.

I need to know if there are any studies available that show the benefits of progesterone use for elderly women please, so that mum can present some evidence to her doctor.

Regards,
Jo

help for your mum
by: Rachel

I've heard it all now! How dare he treat your mum so badly! Can you get another doc? If I were you, I would read the forums on this site, and print out the research that you find. But you shouldn't have to convince your doctor to help you. Besides, he may not have a good quality natural progesterone cream to offer you.

What are your mum's symptoms she needs help with? Maybe google her condition+progesterone and see if you find anything.
Nature is by far the best P cream you will find.
I hope you and your mum feel more encouraged soon.
