ongoing breast tenderness

by K
(Singapore)

Please advise...

I have taken the higher dose progesterone cream for two months now. 200 mg for all of January and 600 for most of February. During February I bled for 25 of the 29 days. My breasts remain swollen and tender. Should I increase my progesterone dose, or just maintain and hope the symptoms will resolve eventually? (I feel better in other ways, except for the bleeding, breast pain, and inability to lose weight)

Hope someone here may help me!

Kind thanks,
k

Breast tenderness
by: H

Hi,

I don't know for how long you have been using progesterone? Until last month I was usingit and had been using it for about 1,5 year. In the beginning my breast tenderness worsened but after some time it went away for a few months. It came back though! Which was strange I thought. I gave it some time to see if it might go away Again, but it didn't. So last month I tried quitting the prosterone completely - and the breast tenderness has completely gone since then. So I guess more progesterone is not always the answer.

Just wanted to share this with you :)

All the best.
