I have had 3 miscarriages since I was 24

by Tana
(Newark. NJ)

I had my first pregnancy at 24 and lost it in just a few weeks. I have been pregnant 2 times since and lost both within 4-6 weeks.

I am 27 now and trying to get pregnant again. It takes a long time for me to get pregnant and I really want children. I am beside myself.

Hi Tina. It sounds very much like you have a progesterone deficiency. Recurrent miscarriages are often a result of low levels. We do have a web page on pregnancy, please see here. If it takes a long time to get pregnant it could be your ovaries need help. They are very sensitive to oxidative damage which causes them to malfunction. Please consider taking the following antioxidants: 1600mg/day arginine, 1200-1800mg/day N-acetyl cysteine, 5000iu's/day vitamin D. Vitamin D is critical to healthy ovaries, please have a test done, between 30-50% of us have low levels. Take care, Wray
