Can I use Progesterone if I do not have a uterus?

I have my ovaries, but do not have periods, when do I start it?

For how long should I use it and stop?

Thank you.

Hi there Yes you can use it without a uterus. I don't believe a break is neccessary, but it's entirely up to the individual. Please see our page on Menopause for more info. But please read this page we have on Oestrogen Dominance before you start it. It can occur and is disconcerting if it does, many women blaming the progesterone. But it's not, it's caused by progesterone initially stimulating oestrogen. Take care Wray
