Progesterone Injections

I read that progesterone injections are the most effective delivery system. Would the dosage be the same (100-200mg) or would it be lower?

It looks like my insurance would cover them, and I wonder if I would finally be able to get past this hormone havoc. Thank you.

Progesterone Injections

Hi Shari Injections are a very good delivery system, but very painful too. The dose is usually 50mg, but they should be used daily for any real effect. I'm sure your insurance would also cover suppositories. They are often used after IVF treatments. Although these are not as pleasant as the cream, they are also as effective as the injections. They normally come in 100 and 200mg sizes. Take care Wray
