I thought I was pregnant

I started using progesterone and got my period. My last period, started August 14, 09 and my husband and I had intercourse Sept 4. I had not had a period and thought I was pregnant, even though I kept getting a negative HPT. Finally I made an appointment with my doctor to get a blood test. It came back negative, last week.

I had some progesterone cream and started applying it in the morning and the evening Thursday (November 12). I applied 1/2 a teaspoon every day. On sunday night, I had spotting (November 15) to my official disappointment. Monday my period was full blown. I continued with the progesterone through this morning... now after reading over the website I might have made a mistake continuing to use the cream. I will stop.

My question, now that I am having my period, will I be able to conceive if I use the progesterone cream on the 14th day of my cycle or is it too soon?
