Bio-Idenitcal creams

Hello,

I’ve been taking 100mg of progesterone and 1mg of estrogen for 1 year and I feel no different except that my hair won’t stop falling out and I found out 4 months ago that I have a fibroid that is 6.5 cm.

Should I be taking estrogen or just progesterone?

Hi Lori

I don't believe that any woman needs to take extra estrogen as there are well over 100 estrogen mimics in our environment as it is. I suspect that you need to use more progesterone. Between 100-200mg in recommended, more if symptoms are severe. Fibroids often require more. They are caused by oxidative stress and unless the inflammation is dealt with you may battle. If the fibroid is small, Natpro Progesterone Cream will help to absorb the fibroid back into your body, if large, surgery may be needed. Please consider taking some of the anti-inflammatory nutrients mentioned on the fibroids page.

Have you had your thyroid tested as this could explain your loss of hair, stress can also cause it.

Do you know what your Vitamin D3 level is? A deficiency reduces the benefits of progesterone. Nothing less that 5,000iu's per day is needed plus co-factors mentioned on the page. Optimal range is between 70-100ng/mL
