when to start using progesterone cream after a miscarriage?

I started using a progesterone cream about 3 months ago to balance out my hormones and to help with irregular periods occuring about every 15 days and low libido. i was advised by the woman I bought the wild yam cream from that if i wanted it to act as a contraceptive to use the cream twice daily with no stops and i would still get a period. well i did get a period the first two months and was starting to feel normal again...well i got pregnant and then miscarried at about 6weeks. I am 39 years old and we are Not trying to get pregnant. we do use a spermicide when I think I am ovulating, even though we hate using it. and the night I conceived, we did not use a spermacide- sorta got caught up in the moment... So now with this miscarriage I dont know what to do. I am not sure when to start the progesterone cream again. im at a loss as to what the right protocol is..for reference I was using Unicity wild yam cream but just ordered Beeyoutiful Balance (has a 1000mgUSP progesterone bioidentical in 2 oz jar) I wish I wouldve found this page before I placed that order. Please help with any wisdom of what to do now and how to start gack with the progesterone cream.
