What are signs of low progesterone?

The doctor put me on 200mg of Prometrium. I show no outward signs of infertility and no tests were done. Can someone please explain any signs or sympoms of low progesterone? Thank you

Hi Andrea You mention infertility, are you trying to have a child? Have you had miscarriages? Or failed to fall pregnant? These could be two reasons you were given the Prometrium. I'm a bit puzzled your doctor hasn't explained why you were given it. We have a questionnaire on the website which gives all possible symptoms. You can find it in the right margin of this page.

I agree with Wray also have you had any bleeding between cycles? This is a good indication that you have low progesterone. I strongly feel your MD should have explained this to you or at least ran a test. Good luck, Tay
