Thick Endometrium and Ovarian Cyst

by Jane

Hi Wray,

Having problems commenting on my old post heavy heavy periods. Update. My 1cm ovarian cyst grew to 6cm and my endometrium lining thickened using medroxyprogesterone (14 days on and 14 days off) in a month. Doctor is pushing birth control and I'm considering a progesterone only pill as I'm at my wits end with this and I just dn't trust estrogen. I bought the progesterone cream and chaste berry tree supplements. I really want to treat the cause and not mask the symptoms. When I was on bc (estrogen and progesterone based) I only had one week free after my cycle and weeks two and three I spotted. Would this indicate a dysfunctional luteal phase? Now my periods and spotting are all over the place after quitting bc and starting medroxyprogesterone. What would you suggest for using the progesterone cream? I've stopped medroxyprogesterone but is it safe to use the cream with the progesterone bc? Also, I'm scheduled for a d&c and cyst removal at the end of April. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to the cream coming in.

Hi Jane I think I might have found your previous post, see here. I'm just a bit puzzled, because if this page is yours, you did use Natpro so why are you on the MPA? It's quite the worst of all Contraceptives. Oral progesterone is the least effective Delivery system, "The liver and gut region removed a mean of 96 per cent of the progesterone entering these tissues", see here. A dysfunctional luteal phase would only apply in a natural cycle, you were taking a contraceptive which disrupts the cycle anyway. And you're still taking one, the MPA. Although you then say you've stopped it, and then you ask if it's safe to use progesterone with the bc pill, so I'm now even more confused! Did you try the 400-600mg/day progesterone, at least 2000mg/day NAC (N-acetyl cysteine), 2000 mg/day taurine, at least 5000iu per day vitamin D (dependant on current levels) and 1000mg/day bioflavonoids? The Ovarian Cyst would be exacerbated by the MPA, please check your iodine levels or take it, cysts respond to this. And take that protocol I told you to take and you won't need the D&C, it will help clear our your uterus. Take care Wray
