Susten 200 with Glyciphage

Hi Mrs Guna I'm pleased you've been given the Susten, it is progesterone, which is vital for a successful pregnancy. See our page on Pregnancy for more info. If you are taking it orally, not much will be getting into circulation, as it's destroyed by the gut and liver. In fact oral progesterone is the least effective Delivery system. Please consider opening the capsule, and adding the contents to a natural cream or oil, and rubbing it on your skin. This way you will get the full benefit. I don't agree with the Metformin though, see here, here, here and here. it is possible to reverse PCOS naturally. Please read through this page, it gives a list of all the nutrients which reverse it. But above all please have a vitamin D test done, this is vital to stabilise blood glucose, for PCOS, for a successful pregnancy and the growth of the foetus, see here, here, here, here, here, here and here. These are excellent videos to watch too, see here and here. Continued below.

Hi Mrs Guna For more info on vitamin D levels, testing etc see the Vitamin D Council, GrassrootsHealth, Birmingham Hospital and Vitamin D Links websites. Blood levels should be 70-100ng/ml or 175-250nmol/L and not the 30ng/ml or 75nmol/L most labs and doctors regard as adequate. The minimum daily dose should be 5000iu's per day, although the latest research indicates it should be 10,000iu's per day, see here. Take care Wray

by: Mrs Guna

Thank you for your valuable response. could you please mention how long should i take Susten 200? The Gynec gave me only 10 tablets. I have been asked to take an ultrasound scan on 45th day. Should i continue till then or should i restrict with the 10 tablets provided?

How long should i take SUSTEN 200

Hi Mrs Guna You really need to use progesterone for at least 3 months, if not 4. Particularly if there is any likelihood of a miscarriage. And it should never be stopped cold turkey, the sudden drop in progesterone can cause a miscarriage. It must be reduced slowly, I recommend no more than 16mg per day. This is difficult with a capsule, which is why I suggested mixing the contents with an oil or cream. Please consider doing this. There is much more info on how to use it while pregnant on our pregnancy page, please look through it. Take care Wray
