I have been under a lot of stress , don't sleep good , have melt downs but not want to take any depression medicine . Do you think , could the progesterone therapy could help me. With the stress what do you take for the adrenal gland. I'm in my 60's and have separated from husband of 48 years to get out from the stress I try to just work passed it. Can't lose some extra weight even even walking 3 miles 3 times a week , I just feel my body is not on the right track, do you think you might be able to help thank you Kathleen

Hi Kathleen

Stress is a nasty, nasty thing and is responsible for so much of our health problems today. You certainly have been going through a lot too, so I am not surprised you are feeling the way that you do.

Progesterone will certainly help you and being in your 60's, more so. Strange, I often find marriages break up when a woman reaches Menopause and I have my own thoughts about that. Anyhow, time to move on and take control. Menopause is also a time when one experiences weight problems too, have you been tested for Insulin Resistance by any chance? You will also be suffering from Estrogen Dominance symptoms which makes one feel terrible as well.

Also do you know what your Vitamin D3 level is as a deficiency reduces the benefits and also helps depression.

To answer your question, will progesterone cream help you, yes it will but you also need the nutrients mentioned on the Stress page.

Hope this helps you.
